In consideration of the leasing of the property herein above indicated.  Lessee does covenant and agree to pay the Lessor as rent for said property the above indicated total.

In further consideration of the covenants herein, Lessor does hereby lease to the Lessee the Canoe(s) and Equipment described above, subject to the following term and conditions:

1.     The Canoe(s) and Equipment shall remain the property of the Lessor and failure to return it on the agreed date shall constitute a separate rental agreement on a daily basis at the rate of  $_______ per day, including the return date.

2.     The Lessee agrees to identify and hold harmless Lessor against all loss, damage, expense, cost, attorney’s fees, and/or liabilities arising from any action on account of an injury to person or property of any character whatsoever occasioned or resolving through the use, operation, handling, transportation, or possession of any of the leased property during the rental period, and while the property is in the possession or under the custody and control of Lessee.

3.     Lessee agrees to return all the leased property to the Lessor’s place of business, including all equipment, in the same condition as received, ordinary wear and tear accepted.  The leased property at all times, until redelivered to Lessor, shall be held at the sole risk of the Lessee for injury, loss or destruction from any cause, and in case the same or any part thereof shall be damaged, lost or destroyed before such redelivery, the Lessee shal pay to the Lessor the value of the property, as determined by the reasonable value of the property at the time the same was leased to the Lessee.

A pick up time of no later than ________ has been ageed upon.

Failure to be at pick-up area by agreed time will result in loss of __________deposit.
